He enjoys a healthy lifestyle, working out and participating in CrossFit. He was an All-American college athlete in the decathlon and holds numerous school records. Lindahl was inducted into the California Lutheran University Hall of Fame in 2010. He has been a coach for two USA Track & Field teams.
